Translating websites using AI
Using a browser’s built-in AI translation tool can be a great way to make the internet more accessible, displaying the content in your preferred language.
Different browsers have their own translation tools but they all work in a similar way.
Start by opening the website that you want to translate.

Next, right click anywhere on the website. From the pop-up menu that appears, select “Translate to English”. |

Depending on which browser you’re using, the translation window (a small box below the address bar) may open.

If the translation window opens, select the three vertical dots, then select “Choose another language…” |

If no translation box opens, select the “translation” icon displayed in the address bar. This will open the translation window. |

Use the drop down list to select the desired language, then select “Translate”. |

The website will be automatically translated into the chosen language.
You can switch between the original and translated versions using the options in the translation window.
